BUHARIWALAS DATA PRIVACY AND PROTECTION POLICY
Unauthorised disclosure of confidential information could be detrimental to Buhariwala. We must all ensure that all information not known to the general public is kept strictly confidential. Within the organisation data must be shared only with the intended or authorised personnel. Those of us who have access to confidential information belonging to business partners are under a similar obligation to protect it from disclosure.
We are all expected to:
⮚ Limit disclosure of confidential information to people with a legitimate “need to know” that serves Buhariwalas interest.
⮚ Secure all confidential customer and supplier records, both paper and electronic.
⮚ Protect our electronic data with security features like passwords.
⮚ Not leave our computer unlocked when we are away from our desk.
⮚ Not reveal our system password to our colleagues or any outsider unless in emergencies.
⮚ Change our password once shared with a user other than ourselves.
⮚ Prevent disclosure of confidential information to parties outside Buhariwalas (including family members). third
⮚ Avoid discussing or working with confidential information in a public area where conversations can be overheard or data compromised.
⮚ Keep our records in our drawers or in filing cabinets and not leave confidential records on our desks.
⮚ Make sure we are not disclosing previous employer’s confidential information.
⮚ Return all confidential information upon leaving Buhariwalas.
Management of Client Data
Any client information and data entering Buhariwalas Corporation will not be published, distributed or sold.
Client information and data will be shared with law enforcement or governmental authorities in cases where they have followed the corresponding process to request us to share the information with them.
Client information can be shared only for:
1. Conduct of investigations of possible violations of applicable laws.
2. To detect, prevent and protect against fraud and technical or security vulnerability.
3. Comply with any government regulations.
Personal Information
Will be shared with companies, organisations or individuals outside Buhariwalas Corporation Pvt. Ltd., only if disclosure of such information is necessary for legal reasons.
We expect all our employees to abide by and comply with the company’s data privacy policy.
